Celebrating small successes

We’re currently in Madrid, Spain and spent yesterday walking a bajillion miles around the city. We ran some errands, we saw both botanical gardens and non-botanical gardens, and we attended our very first opera.

The plus side of all the walking was a great day of blood sugars, plus very-little-to-no-bolusing for some gelato and a croissant throughout the day. It was really nice to see a consistent 24-hour line on my CGM this morning.

In other positive news, my blood sugar averages from the last seven days has been 135 mg/dl, with 75% of my numbers being in range. I’m thankful for these small wins today.

On that note, I’m off to enjoy a little bit more Spanish wine on our last night here.
